iON Consultants provided members of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management some useful insights into the benefits of the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) Faculty of Asbestos Assessment and Management (FAAM) membership recently.
From a client perspective, there is a real need to have confidence in asbestos inspection and testing bodies and the personal development that FAAM promotes as part of the membership helps with increasing sector knowledge and capability.
A range of additional skills, knowledge and experience are promoted in FAAM membership including health and safety, CDM, project management, communication, environmental management, accident management and cost control.
Richard Bennion was invited by the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) to offer his opinion from a client's perspective and completed the third of three sessions.
